Nicot CNE4 Incubator Hair Roller Cage
Each cage is fitted over the cell cup holder together with the cell cup containing the queen cell. The incubator cages are then placed on the bases, which are fixed to wooden slats or in any other convenient way. These slats with cages are placed in an incubator or hive and remain there until the queen bees emerge from the queen cells.

Used as protection and support for the queen bee in an incubator or hive. When rearing queen bees in this way, place a drop of honey or “candy” feed inside the incubator cage. There is a special recess at the bottom of the cage for this purpose. This design is very convenient, as you do not need to worry that a young queen bee will be hungry if she emerges at night and you do not want to remove her from the incubator. The bottom of the cage is designed so that the feed sits in a special recess, while the rest of the cage floor has openings. These allow warm air to enter for the proper development of the queen bee in the incubator. This cage design prevents a situation where a young queen bee could become soiled with feed and stick to it.
