Form: the preparation is supplied as a clear liquid, sometimes with a yellowish tint, and may contain a slight sediment. It evaporates quickly when exposed to open air. The liquid is highly flammable.

Properties: Sanapin has strong fungicidal, detoxifying and disinfectant properties. Use of the preparation has a positive effect on the working capacity and immune defence of bees, significantly improving these indicators. The preparation is highly effective against spore-forming and non-spore-forming microorganisms, viruses and fungi.

Dosage and method of use: Sanapin is indicated for use in cases of microbial, fungal and viral diseases in bees. Sanitising, deactivating, disinfecting and fungicidal action are the main properties of the preparation.

Before using the preparation, it is not necessary to carry out general hygienic cleaning inside the hive or remove frames with bees. The hive should be sealed by closing gaps, entrances, etc. The preparation is used at a rate of 2-4 ml per 1 cubic metre of hive volume. The hive is treated with Sanapin by evenly spraying the preparation between the frames, avoiding contact of the liquid preparation with the bees. After treatment, the sealed hive is left for 30-40 minutes, then opened and aired for 15-20 minutes. If repeat treatment is necessary, it should be carried out after 7-14 days, depending on the general condition of the bees and the severity of contamination in the hive.

Contraindications: the preparation must not be used together with products of a similar action.

Precautions: when working with the preparation, the use of open flames or smoking is prohibited. Avoid contact with exposed skin, especially the eyes. Honey obtained after use of the preparation may be used in the usual way.
