The multi-layer black matrices are made from food-grade two-component silicone. Reinforcing material is also used in the manufacture of the matrix (11 layers), giving the matrix a long service life and high wear resistance. When the matrix is filled with melted wax, the silicone does not shrink and maintains its fixed dimensions. Withstands temperatures from -60°C to +200°C.
The matrix consists of two parts.
