An electric beeswax foundation embedder for hive frames lets you fit beeswax foundation into frames quickly and without waste.
When fitting sheets of beeswax foundation into frames, beekeepers have long used a spur embedder. When wiring frames, the embedder allows every centimetre of wire to be securely "pressed" into the beeswax foundation without the risk of tearing the sheet. A new generation of frame foundation embedders is available in our beekeeping shop: the electric embedder for beeswax foundation.
The electric embedder lets you effortlessly press the wire on the frame into the sheet of beeswax foundation using a heated toothed wheel. This attaches the whole sheet across the entire frame quickly and reliably. It is very important that the beeswax foundation is attached straight and without waves. This helps the bees draw more worker comb and minimise drone comb or irregularly shaped comb.
The comfortable plastic handle and low weight of just 220 grams allow you to hold the embedder throughout the frame-wiring and foundation-fitting process. Power supply: 220V. Power: only 30W.
