Honey extractor with PULSE RD 1012A electric drive (4 frames), stainless steel
A honey extractor with an electric drive allows the beekeeper to significantly mechanise and therefore speed up the honey extraction process. Drive power - 100 W
Frames are placed in the extractor cages with the top bar of the frame along the radius of the body; the extractor can spin honey from 4 frames at the same time. The honey extractor allows the rotor speed to be adjusted manually; the speed is changed by increasing or reducing the voltage supplied to the motor. The rotor speed should be increased gradually, as honey is extracted from the frames by centrifugal force. As a result, honey is removed from the honeycomb cells gradually, from the edge of the frame towards the centre of the comb. If the honey extractor is set to a high speed from the start, the combs may break in half. A high frame rotation speed will remove honey too quickly from the outer cells of the comb, while the weight of honey remaining in the cells closer to the centre of the extractor may break the comb. Honey frames should be secured so that the edge of the top bar of the frame is always facing outwards; only because the cells in the frames are angled can the honey be fully removed.
Main features of the electric honey extractor:
- The honey extractor is made from certified food-grade stainless steel for food products
- High legs for convenient use; they can be removed if required
- Compatible with standard 300, 230 and 145mm frames.
