Protective Hair Roller Cage for Queen Rearing (Nicot Alternative)

Widely used in beekeeping for isolating a queen cell or queen bee. It is also used as temporary holding space for a queen bee, for example during transfer or when rearing queens in an incubator.

The hair roller cage fits securely onto the cell cup holder and closes tightly with a small cap on the reverse side. Using these cages ensures full protection for the queen cell or queen bee, while the openings allow bees to care for the queen inside the roller cage and spread her scent around the hive for introduction. During the first hours of the queen bee’s life, feed (candy) can be placed inside the cage in the cap. A small feed reservoir is provided in the cap for this purpose.
