Buying hive number discs individually is a cost-effective option when you do not have many hives in your apiary and it is not practical to buy a full set of numbers, which costs more. The beekeeper can choose exactly the quantity of number discs needed for their apiary.
The number disc is made from white plastic and has special recesses for applying paint. These recesses act as a stencil, allowing the beekeeper to easily create neat, uniform numbers for all their hives. Thanks to the recesses, the paint will not rub off the number discs. The easiest way to apply the numbers is with a marker. For example, the Mitsubishi oil-based marker has durable ink and dries quickly.
