The round entrance disc has 4 positions. In the first position, the opening is fully open, allowing bees to pass through freely. In the second position, the entrance is set for ventilation. In this position, the bees remain inside the hive. The small holes allow air to circulate. The third position of the entrance disc is used when you need to protect the bees from pests. In this position, bees can pass through the entrance opening, but it is too small for rodents to get in. In the fourth position, the disc completely closes the entrance to the hive.
