Swarm lure Geraniol Citral, 25 g

The product is intended for attracting and catching swarms in apiaries during the swarming period of bee colonies. According to the sources, it contains synthetic components found in Nasonov gland substances, which bees use to mark attractive locations.

Composition and form

• geraniol;
• citral;
• white gel;
• packaging — 25 g polymer jar.

Application

• For a swarm scion: at the beginning of the expected swarming period, apply about 1 g, or 1/4 teaspoon, as an 8–10 mm circle; renew daily throughout the swarming period.
• For a swarm trap: apply about 10 g, or 2 teaspoons, once to the inner surface of the swarm trap.
• Prepared swarm traps are placed on poles or trees at a height of 3–5 m and at a distance of 100–800 m from the apiary; inspection is carried out at least once every two days.
• The swarm trap can be reused within 10 days after catching a swarm.

Storage

Store in the original packaging in a dry place protected from light at a temperature from 0 to +25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
